What are Porcelain Tiles?

Our Porcelain Slabs are made from dense natural clay in a process involving extreme temperatures and high-power presses. This process makes porcelain tiles more durable and resilient than regular ceramic tiles. As a result of the extreme manufacturing process, porcelain slabs absorb less than ~0.05% water, allowing it to be also used outdoors and in all weather conditions.

Requirements

Certain thicknesses may not be suitable for every installation.
6mm and 9mm slabs are great for walls but may not be
suitable for countertops and islands, it may require higher
thicknesses to withstand the weight. 20mm slabs are great
for kitchen countertop and island applications.

Health Advantages of Porcelain

A health advantage is that porcelain tiles have no harmful chemicals and do not emit any VOC (volatile organic compounds); Or Radon radiation compared to granite, marble and quartz. To read more about radon, the #1 cause of lung cancer for non-smokers, refer to the following sources: Health-Canada , EPA

Stress Testing

Our porcelain slabs have been tested to meet the industry standard requirements for residential and commercial building applications. These tests include but are not limited to water absorption, abrasion resistance, weight resistance, slip resistance, destructive strength, compressive strength, flexural strength, freeze-thaw resistance, thermal shock resistance, stain resistance and chemical resistance

Use Case Scenarios

Porcelain slabs are amongst the top construction materials that not only add quality and luxury to any space but are also a great replacement for tiles, natural stones, and other construction materials. They can be used in indoor and outdoor spaces. These include floors, walls, kitchen backsplashes, fireplace backdrops, countertops, islands, and more!
